World-renowned jazz vibraphone legend Dave Pike joins with rising talent Anthony Smith in a unique celebration of the vibraphone in jazz, showcasing the music of Lionel Hampton, Milt Jackson, Dave Pike, Bobby Hutcherson & Terry Gibbs. The concert will provide a rare opportunity to hear two vibraphones at once, as Pike’s dazzling bop-inspired lines converge with the younger Smith’s energetic, forward-looking style.
