Masakote Music presents 3 shows in one – a celebration of Afro-Cuban culture beginning @ 2PM with DJ Rick “La Voz” Criss spinning salsa & merengue sounds;
@ 4PM with Silfredo La O & his Rumba Project performing traditional Cuban rumbas – guaguancó, columbia, & yambú. Then,
@ 6PM Gene Perry & his 10 piece Afro Rumba playing an array of Caribe/salsa/jazz Latino rhythms. Let’s sing! Let’s dance! RRRRRRRRRRRR!! A GOZARR!! With Gene Perry congas/vocals, Kevin Delgado bass, Lynn Willard piano, Derek Cannon trumpet, Bob Campbell saxophones /flute, Andy Geib trombone, Charlie Chavez timbales, & special guests.
